He has successfully led and exited a number of spin-offs from the University of Leuven, including Cartagenia, which was acquired by Agilent. Following the sale, he led Agilent’s Genomics & Clinical Applications division in California. He was CEO of Biocartis, a molecular diagnostics company focused on revolutionizing personalized medicine by enabling rapid and accurate diagnostic testing.
