Flore joined Heran in May 2026, bringing a combination of deep scientific expertise and hands-on experience at the intersection of AI, medical imaging, and healthcare innovation. As part of the investment team, she focuses on screening and assessment of deal flow, due diligence, including market analysis and technological deep dives.
Flore holds a BSc in Bioscience Engineering and an MSc in Biomedical Engineering from KU Leuven, where she developed a strong foundation in medical technologies, AI, and health economics. She went on to pursue a PhD at KU Leuven developing AI-powered imaging biomarkers for pulmonary disease — while simultaneously working as a Research Scientist at radiomics.bio.
