Annie serves as Founding Partner and Senior Advisor to HERAN. In addition, she created her family office, Opdorp Finance, which leverages a diversified investment strategy which includes asset management, Private Equity investments, real estate, and direct investments. During her career, Annie built an impressive track record in the health-care industry by successfully building the laboratory group Medhold which was sold to Sonic Healthcare in 2010. As an investor and in addition to the HERAN portfolio companies, she was involved with Cartagenia, Biocartis, MyCartis, Sensolus, ArgenX, Laboratoria Wolfs, and Custodix.
In her role at HERAN, Annie provides advice regarding scientific & technological innovations which are under re-view.
Annie holds Master’s in Pharmacy and a training degree in Clinical Pathology from the KU Leuven.
